All doctors on the Physician Finder have completed the stated requirements for developing and maintaining Barrigel procedure clinical proficiency. Doctors designated as Centers of Excellence (“COE”) have achieved a higher level of training with Barrigel and demonstrated a commitment to exemplary care for patients undergoing prostate cancer radiation therapy. Requirements to achieve the COE designation are as follows: Complete advanced technique training. Maintain clinical proficiency by performing a minimum of 75 Barrigel procedures per year. Participate in quarterly educational content to maintain up to date on best practices.
