About Michael Greenberg

Dr. Michael Greenberg is a Clinical Associate Professor and the Enterprise Vice Chair for Business Development of Radiation Oncology at Jefferson Health Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center. He completed his training in Radiation Oncology at Harvard Medical School. In his previous experience as Medical Director and Oncology Service Line Director of the Dale and Frances Hughes Cancer Center at Lehigh Valley Health for 27 years at which point he became the Director of the Northeast Radiation Services for the Geisinger Health System and he served as the Director of Radiation Oncology of New Jersey Urology Cherry Hill which leads him to his current practice as the Vice Chair of Radiation Oncology Jefferson Health Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center. Dr. Greenberg is also part of MRIdian ViewRay's advisory board and working with Decipher Biosciences on genomics in the setting of biochemical recurrence after a prostatectomy. Dr. Greenberg is passionate about patient care, advocacy, and education. He believes in helping patients “get to yes” and that new innovations mean new hope for men with prostate cancer.

Doctors designated as Centers of Excellence (“COE”) have achieved a higher level of training with Barrigel and demonstrated a commitment to exemplary care for patients undergoing prostate cancer radiation therapy. Requirements to achieve the COE designation are as follows: Complete advanced technique training. Maintain clinical proficiency by performing a minimum of 75 Barrigel procedures per year. Participate in quarterly educational content to maintain up to date on best practices.
